$120 per person. Ceramic Hand-Building in Clay Workshop. This is for two scheduled sessions with a week between the two. Usually from 10am-1pm unless scheduled otherwise. Must commit to both Scheduled days and an additional scheduled pick up or delivery day for final project. All clay, tools, supplies, glaze and firing is included in this fee.
This class is held on a floating house on the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, La. Must not have issues walking on a floating pier or get motion sickness. There is AC and heat when needed. Most good weather days are held on the front porch.
Please contact Artist Jodie Flowers before purchasing this listing to check dates, times and availability. Once purchased you will need to commit to your scheduled days. There is a $40 fee to make up a missed day. All purchases are non refundable.
Feel free to bring snacks, drinks and a lunch on both days and enjoy yourself. The first day there is not much free time for a big lunch, but the second day when we glaze our pieces there will be time for lunch and relaxing.
If you have long fingernails, you are advised to trim them short or off for hand building in clay.
No experience necessary, but Experienced are welcome too!
